I, too, have a coverlet made by Daniel Stevenson with the notation "Fairfield Jefferson Co. Iowa"
at the lower corners. It is similar to the red and blue one in the collections of the Chicago Museum of Art. Have you found any further history? I have searched the internet and have only found a few basic facts.
