From volume #2 page 56 of Our Jefferson County Ia
Ancestors...the family sheet for Sarah Catherine
Ridinger's parents lists some information that may
be helpful.
Sarah Catherine b. 4 Mar l859 Jefferson Co Ia.
married 3l Oct l882 probably Henry Co IA
to Julius Lippman (he is the one died in Jan l884)
and she had one child per Lippman obit online.
married 23 Apr l890 probably Henry Co IA
to Jacob Schafer as his 3rd wife, and they had one
son Glenn who has descendants in Jefferson County
Iowa.

Then from the family sheet it gives Sarah death
date as 23 Mar 1910, no doubt on the farm here
in Jefferson County, but no cemetery listed.

This family sheet on Ridinger family was
submitted in l978, 33 long years ago by Freda
Lanferman of Houston Tx. She was related to Sarah
brother John who is in Green Mound Cemetery
in Henry County Iowa. Sarah's parents George
and Mary Ridinger are in Green Mound Cemetery
and Sarah might have put Julius Lippman in that
same cemetery beside her own parents.

Marriages of any Lippman from 1905 to 1919 in
Jefferson county reveal nothing.

The Henry County birth records for l883 possibly
would show the Lippman child, or possibly Julius
had guardianship records on file there.

Henry county researcher is Patricia White
has email on line with Julius Lippman obituary.
She lives in Mt.Pleasant and could look up any 1910 obituary

Have you found the Schafer family on the l895
census, no doubt in Walnut or Lockridge township?
It would give the name of the child, probably
about 11 years of age.
