As the former researcher in this county for 33 yrs
I "think" Jennie Gilmer born 1856 parents are Wm Gilmer (died Mar 7 l858) and Barbara Doughty
died 15 Oct l887. Barbara was buried in Walnut
Hill Cemetery with no gravestone, and from a
researcher on the internet her husband's death
date and place had him buried at Walnut Hill also
with no gravestone. They were married by Rev.
Andrew Smith, a Methodist minister and he was
from that area out in Locust Grove Twp. There are
no probate or guardianship records for these
Gilmers.

Go to our cemetery listing, alphabetical for
Fairfield Cemetery and possibly William McMaster
l802-1883 is Benj. father. There is a picture of
his gravestone on our web site, just click on the
blue lettering McMASTER and it should pop up. His
wife Ruth is also listed, even though she died out
in Hall Co Nebr.

So where did Benjamin and Jennie move to?

And do you know if Jennie had a brother Charles
born l85l died l930 who is buried in the Brooks
Cemetery?
