That is a terribly long time span. He was not
written up in our history "A Fairfield" so tried
the Latter Day Saint microfilm and came up with
the following......Cannot make a print out of the
article as our reader / printer is not making
prints. (During a time period from about 1900 to 1920 we had 5 newspaper in competition.)

A. B. Carrol of Oak Park Ill is in the city visiting his dau Mrs. Clifford Thoma. He is
brother of former Gov. B. F. Carrol and was at one time publisher of the Fairfield Daily Journal. Mr Carrol was a school make with Gen. Pershing and R. B. Louden at Kirksville, MO.....

The Daily Journal was published from June 1904
until Dec 1921 in case you wondered. It would be
interesting to know what his obituary said, when
did he move away from Fairfield. Where was he living in the 1910 census? What year would he have gotten out of college at Kirksville?
