Looking for any information on William and Margaret (Howard) Warner. William was born about 1785 in VA. and raised in White Co., TN., where he married Margaret Howard, daughter of Robert and Nancy (VanBibber) Howard. They had possibly 12 children: William Arthur; Benton R.; Gideon (?); Napoleon M.; Robert Howard (my g-g-grandfather) and his twin sister, Nancy V.; Melissa H.; Mary; Martha Ann; Ephriam (?) and possibly 2 others. Moved to Jefferson Co., IA. in 1840. Left TN. around 1835 and settled for a few years in Hancock Co., IL. then moved for a short time to Henry Co., IA. (Warner's Ford, named after William), then to Jefferson Co. where William died around 1845.
