Private First Class Garland Scalf

On 26 April, the Quad Cities will salute their long forgotten heroes, the veterans of the Korean War. A parade and special ceremony will be held in Davenport, Iowa that day starting at 10 a.m. Part of the ceremony will include the presentation the Republic of Korea Korean War Service Medal and Certificate of Appreciation to the next of kin/families of the servicemen that made the ultimate sacrifice during the war. However, in order to accomplish that we need to locate the next of kin/family of Private First Class Garland R. Scalf. Garland was Killed in Action on 5 September 1950. If anyone knows Garland Scalf's family, please notify Richard Worthy at reworthy@aol.com as soon as possible.
