Thank you Verda. I am trying to either confirm or disprove a birthplace and marriage place for Frederick and Catharine Rock. You have pretty much disproved the allegation of their birth and marriage in the years 1782 and 1801 in Jefferson County, Iowa. They are the parents of John Rock (married to Susannah Wertz). I will continue looking in Maryland where census done by John Rock says his father is from. Thank you!
