Dear Verda,

Thanks for your quick response. My info: Thomas and Mary Hughes moved to Iowa in 1854 from Pennsylvania. He died in 1857. Mary, who's maiden name is White (from my mom's records?) eventually ended up in Greene Co, Iowa living with her daughter Rachel Hughes Davenport (1880 census). I have no record of her death and can't find her after that census. I have no record of a remarriage. How do I get a copy of the Iowa Genealogical Society Quarterly you mentioned? I would be happy to send you a family sheet. I'll put it in the mail to the address you included.

Thank you so much for your information. This is a family line that just stops and I'm determined to follow it somewhere.
