Marjorie HORTON

Marjorie H. HORTON, 84, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Genesis-East, Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA). She was a resident of Bettendorf, and formerly of Fairfield, Iowa. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney, Bettendorf. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Mrs. HORTON was employed as a registered nurse, retiring from Fairfied Public Schools.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton; daughter, Mary Sue GILBERT, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; four granddaughters; and a sister, Mildred WARD, Iowa City.

There will be no visitation. Memorials made to Parkinson Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries in Davenport.

Note: Buried in Lot 5th.060. Husband Clayton died in 2001 and was buried with her. Marjorie's maiden name was DWYER, and she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Hannah F. MILLANE DWYER. She was born December 3, 1914.
