HOOTMAN Services Tuesday Afternoon

Funeral services for Ira HOOTMAN who died on Sunday, will be held at the Weston Behner funeral home in Fairfield Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be brought brom Birmingham to the Behner home this afternoon.

IRA HOOTMAN PASSES AWAY
Died at Rochester, Minn., Sunday; body taken to Birmingham

Ira M. HOOTMAN, 46, well-known resident, passed away Sunday at Rochester, Minn., following an illness of about a year. The family home is at 304 East Broadway.

He was born on June 30, 1893 near Mount Zion, the son of Chester and Ella HOOTMAN.

Mr. HOOTMAN served with Company "M" during the World war. While he was away his mother died and he was given permission to attend the funeral.

In May, 1918, he was married to Miss Mary TEAL. To this union were born three children: Virginia, Lucille and Jack, who, with their mother, survive him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

To All Whom It May Concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Ira M. HOOTMAN, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that Wednesday, July 12th, A. D. 1939 at 9:30 o'clock A.M. has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 15th day of June, 1939.
