Mona Raye (Stevens) Warrick, age 83 of Colfax, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Taylor House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the church. Memorials may be directed to Taylor House - Hospice and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com
The daughter of Milo Raymond and Bernice Beatrice (Ades) Stevens, Mona was born on May 17, 1941 in Colfax. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1959. On June 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Keith P. Warrick.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Brian (Carolyn) Warrick and Annette (Mike) McGill; 10 grandchildren, Tanner Kinsella, Krista (Brady) Lewis, Tori (Levi) Lear; Blake Warrick, Micah McGill, Josiah (Laura) McGill, Autumn McGill, Brock Warrick, Trevor (Kara)Kinsella and Kira Warrick; eight great grandchildren, Ellie, Kasey, Kaden, Raygen, Vincent, Trey, Lee Ann and Anastasia; a sister, Luainne (Gene) VandeLune; a brother-in-law, Joe Conley and her best friend, Sharon Stubbs. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Keith; a daughter, Mila Warrick; sister, Rhonda McClannahan; sisters-in-law, Vonda Lee Williams and Joy Conley; brothers-in-law, Walter Williams and Harlan McClannahan and two nephews, Todd McClannahan and Joel Conley.
