Bonnie, The 1910 federal & the 1915 Ia. state census both indicate her year of arrival is circa 1886. many of us hve problems locating immigration records. My nephew & I spent 7 years looking for my great g-parents record. There were several major & minor ports of entry on the east coast of the U.S. & Canada, plus the southern ports of New Orleans La. & Corpus Christi & Galveston, Tx. Not all passenger manifests were saved. Of those that were, many were still not archived. And of those that were archived, many may not yet have been filmed. Also, what you find accessable on-line today is only a smattering of those all of the archived or filmed records. As for Ferdinand/Fred Petesch, he appears to have stayed in Jackson county, but again, that should have been a separate request from a year of immigration request for Francesca. As I suggested previously Bonnie, if you post a request for a specific record/document, you responses will be more beneficial. Better to post several times for specific records and receive positive results than to post once with vague or multiple requests and receive none. Dick
