Funeral services for Andrew Lee, 86, of Bode were held Monday afternoon, July 6, in St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Burial was in the church cemetery at Bode. Schellhammer Funeral Home of West Bend was in charge of arrangements.
Lee died July 2 at Bethesda General Hospital in Fort Dodge.
He is survived by his widow, Helga; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Kasid, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Myrtle Andersen of Humboldt; a son, Tedmar, Bradgate; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bertina Carlson, St. Paul, Minn.
Lee was born in Ynire Arne, Norway, and came to the United States in 1901 and settled near Bode. He attended Humboldt Academy and Iowa State College, Ames. In 1906 he married Helga Bakken at Bode. He was a retired farmer and moved to Bode in 1945.
