OBITUARY.
WOODS.
Wilma Woods, age 19 years, died in St. Paul. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woods, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Finnegan, formerly of this city, now living at 856 Armstrong Ave., St. Paul, Minn., with whom she has made her home since she was one month old; her mother died when she was five months old and her father died when she was five years old, leaving her in care of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Finnegan.
When living at Cresco, she attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School, and then entered Nicols Business College in St. Paul where she spent fifteen months, finishing typewriting and bookkeeping, then accepted a position with the Patterson Dental Co., till two weeks ago when she was taken ill with Brights Disease and died May 29th.
Services were held at St. James Church and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Besides her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Finnegan, she leaves her uncle, Ben Finegan, and her aunts, Miss A. Finnegan, Mrs. John DeBIlzan, and Mrs. Geo. Wilkorm to mourn her loss.
Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Pete Finnegan, Jamestown, N. D., Will Woods, Mrs. Wm. Wilson and Elizabeth Crowe, of Cresco, Ia., Mrs. Will Rinn and Miss Clara Rinn, of Lourdes, Iowa, and Mrs. Mike Killorn of Austin, Minn.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name spelled Willma. She was born in 1899 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
