OBITAURY.
Fravel.
Lucy Harmon was born at Rupert, Vermont, October 8, 1843, and passed away at the home of her son Elbert Fravel April 24, 1919, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 16 days.
Her girlhood days were spent in Vermont, Wisconsin and Illinois. In Stevenson county, Ill., in 1862, she was united in marriage to Peter Fravel, who preceded her to the great beyond January 14, 1909. To this union three children were born, Geo. H., who was taken from them in infancy, Elbert E., and Julius E.
In 1864 she came to Iowa and with her husband settled on a farm near Cresco, where she resided until eight years ago when she moved to Cresco. Since February, 1919, she has been at at{sic} the home of her son Elbert.
To her friends and neighbors she was known as ever ready to aid in time of sickness and to extend help and sympathy to those who needed it.
She leaves two sons, two brothers, David H. and Benjamin H., two sisters, Mrs. Frank Davis and Mrs. Charlotte Butler, six grandchildren and many relatives and friends who will miss her.
The funeral services conducted by the Baptist pastor, Rev. J. A. Pettit, were held at the home of Elbert Fravel. Burial at New Oregon cemetery.Card of Thanks.
