Obituary.
John Thomas, son of William and Anna Gill, was born in Brooklyn twp., Green county, Wis., on the 26th of September, 1858. He was married to Marie Winslow at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Winslow, of Fountain, Minn., on the 14th of February, 1895. Their home was in Evansville, Wis., where he was in the livery business until her death 16 years ago. For fourteen years he has made his home at his uncle’s, A. J. Winslow, where he died April 4, 1919, of appoplexy{sic}. He is survived by three brothers, five sisters, many relatives and a host of good friends. Rev. Sires officiated at the funeral services at the home with singing by W. C. Davis and Tom Davis.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in East Dayton Cemetery in Dayton, WI.
