OBITUARY

Julia Hansen Glaman was born in Norway, September 29, 1855. She came to America in 1875. She was married to L. L. Molde and to this union four children were born: Ludwig, Ellen, Samuel, Cora. L. L. Molde died in1885 and later Mrs. Molde was married to F. J. Glaman. To this union five children were born: Phoebe, Martin, Charles, David and Daniel.

Of the children three have died: Ludwig, Ellen and Daniel. The other children are located as follows: Samuel at Fort Dodge, Iowa; Cora Wilson, at Leavenworth, Kansas; Phoebe Blair at Webster City, Iowa; and the three sons, Martin, Charles and David live in Jewell.

Besides the husband and children, there are seven grandchildren left to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Glaman was brought up and confirmed in the Lutheran church. After coming to Jewell she joined the Methodist Episcopal church, September 20, 1896. She died at her home in Jewell, December 12, 1922.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the home and at the Federated church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. G. A. McKinley. The pall bearers were: B. S. Millett, Peter Lund, C. P. Christensen, Sam Christianson, C. E. Fenton, J. B. Thompson. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fleenor and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Fenton. The body was laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
