The body of Sam Jorgenson [should be Sam Johnson] who died last week of tuberculosis, arrived in Jewell Monday night, having been shipped here for burial. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Michaelson Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Hans Oppedal, and interment was made in the cemetery at that church. The deceased was a half brother of John Jorgenson who shot himself last winter at his farm southwest of town. He was unmarried and has three sisters, two living at Eagle Grove, and Mrs. Martin Lien of Lake City, all of whom were here for the funeral Tuesday.
