THE STANHOPE RECORD

Mrs. Ole Jorgenson Passes Away

Mrs. Ole Jorgenson quietly passed away Sunday forenoon at the home near Rosendale, death being due to heart disease. The funeral services were held at noon yesterday from the home and at 12:30 from the church, conducted by Rev. Knudson. Mrs. Jorgenson became sick last Friday, but Sunday felt much better and had been sitting up in her rocking chair not over ten minutes before death took her quietly and peacefully away.

Mrs. Jorgenson was a lady of a few months over 66 years of age, was for years a resident of this community, and was known and highly esteemed by hosts of neighbors and friends, to all of whom her death comes as a genuine shock and a personal loss. Her husband preceded her to the Great Beyond a little over a year ago, and since that time she has made her home with her children upon the home place. She is survived by two sons, John and Sam, and three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Johnson of Eagle Grove, and Julia and Bell. All but Mrs. Johnson lived with their mother upon the home farm, and all were present at the funeral services yesterday except Mrs. Johnson, who is sick in a hospital and unable to attend.

The Record joins with the friends of this family in expressing sincere sympathy ith them in their bereavement.
