Thanks to all who have helped me in my search.
I recently visited Ringsted and found a wealth of information!
One of the mysteries remaining is the 2 Marthas.
Can anyone help me?

Martha Kjerstine Petersen born 7-18-1887

Martha Laurina Petersen born 5-4-1900 married Nels Flint.

I know all about the 2nd Martha...Martha L
The first Martha...Martha K is shown on the
1900 Swan Lake twp census...It says Peter C Petersen and Christina Petersen and children
Christian, Mary K, Martha B(K), Earl, Dortha, Nels and a baby not yet named.
The baby would be Martha L (Flint)since she was born in 1900. In censuses and history books after that, the first Martha K. is not listed. What I'm trying to find out is what happened to her. Did she die and that's why they named the new 1900 baby Martha?
Martha K would have been 10 years old, almost 11.
Any information would be appreciated!
