I found that same census information just recently.Just this morning I found the St. John's Cemetery by accident..before I found your response to my posting. I've not found the posting you mentioned yet but I will keep looking. Now I'm wondering where Dennis Donahue is buried, Ann's husband. You mention 4 kids. This matches. Bridget Tully was her daughter by previous marraige and that is my gr gr grandmother. Ann is her mother.
The Edward,Mary and Ellen are her children by Dennis Donahue. I'm wondering if Harriet is another name for one of the girls. The 1900 Census in Louisa Co IA shows
Dennis Donahue (actually looks like Donnahu) age 65
Ann Donahue age 50
Mary Donahue age 22 ( mentions pulmonary consumption on the census page)
Ellen Donahue age 19 (not sure very hard to read)
Ferguson, (no name listed) age 40
(it mentions on this page that Ferguson refused to give age or name) listed as a servant in householdBoth Ann and Dennis are listed as being born in Ireland and same for their parents.
Girls were listed as born in Iowa.A directory for Emmet mentions Edward and Ann in 1904 at the Roberts address. The 1907 directory
Ann is not mentioned. It would be great if we could find an obit on this 1917 Ann Donahue to see
if it is my Ann.Thank you for posting your information.
