SPIRIT LAKE-SUPERIOR TELEPHONE COMPANY INC 1938

I serve on the Superior COOP Telephone board. This month one of Bill Mays sons presented us with stock from the "Spirit Lake-Superior Telephone Company Inc." To our knowledge our company has never been associated with Spirit Lake. Anyone have any explanation? The stock was issued in 1938.
