Services for Pearl N. Hoffman, 99, of Perry will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pearl died Sunday, December 18, 2011. Interment will be in Violet Hill Cemetery.

Pearl was born February 8, 1912 in Savanna, IL to George and Elise Starliper. She married Verne Hoffman on October 1, 1932 in Omaha, NE.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Perry and a 52 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa (Gene) Jacobson of Perry; a close friend, Carol (K Don) Rickels of Perry; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verne in 1988; son, Keith in 2002; three sisters and one brother.

Memorials can be made to Spring Valley Retirement for the Music and Entertainment Fund.
