Congratulations on your new home! It must be exciting to live in an old building that is certainly full of history.
I believe that the publication you are looking for is the "Creamery and Milk Plant Monthly", volume 11, May 1922. On page 53 it mentions the Star Creamery in North Buena Vista. You can read it online in Google Books. Unfortunately, at the time the article appeared, the creamery had not yet been built. I would imagine that the building was erected sometime later in 1922 or in 1923.
The exact article that appears on pg 53 was also published in various Iowa newspapers in April 1922. I've transcribed the article as it appeared in a Waterloo newspaper & have added it to the Creamery Directory page on the Clayton co. IAGenWeb site (link below). In the June issue, in the section titled 'Corporation Affairs', on page 59 the creamery is listed as having been incorporated as Star Creamery Co., North Buena Vista, Iowa. $8,000.00. President George Hefel; vice-president, George Vanderhaer; secretary, Frank J. Schroeder and treasurer Math. Ruken.
