Boland - Gibson marriage - 1955

June 18, occurred the wedding of Miss Neoma E. Gibson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Gibson of Buffalo Center, to Gerald D. Boland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Boland of Elkader. Miss Ruth E. Gibson was her sister's maid of honor and the bridesmaid was Helen Boland, sister of the groom. James Boland of Dubuque was his brother's best man. James D. Gibson of New York, brother of the bride, was the groomsman. Ushers were Bill Sherman of Austin, Minn., cousin of the bride, and Bud Halvorson of Elkader.

Mr. and Mrs. Boland will make their home in Elkader. Mrs. Boland will resume her duties as teacher of the first grade in the Elkader schools this fall.
