Sheperd - Kettelkamp marriage - 1955

MONONA: June 12, in the Methodist church, Miss Mary Louise Kettelkamp, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. E. G. Kettelkamp, became the bride of Ralph H. Sheperd of Iowa City, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray R. Sheperd of Bicknell, Indiana. Mrs. William Kettelkamp of Iowa City, was matron of honor, and Miss Harriet Kettelkamp, River Falls, Wis., bridesmaid. Darrell Burgess of Iowa City was best man. Ushers were the bride's brothers, Donald, Richard and William Kettelkamp, all of Iowa City.

Mrs. Sheperd is a senior at Cornell college at Mt. Vernon. Mr. Sheperd, who received his B.A. and M.A. degrees at Depauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, is working on his doctorate at the University of Iowa.
