Bierbaum - Davis marriage - 1955

Miss Ruth Marie Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Davis of near St. Olaf, became the bride of Alvin C. Bierbaum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bierbaum of Garnavillo, June 07. The ceremony was performed at the St. Paul's Lutheran church in Garnavillo. Miss Diane Bierbaum, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Joyce Werger, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Charlotte Davis, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Best man was Edward Schneider and groomsman was Gerald Davis. Kris Bierbaum served his brother as ringbearer.

The new couple will make their home at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina for the next year and a half, where Mr. Bierbaum is in the 82nd airborne division.
