Final Rites Held For Mrs. Santage At Spencer Services for Mrs Santage were held Thursday, Jan 11 at Warner's Funeral Chapel at Spencer, 2p.m., with Rev Gerald Sawyer of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Lola Anderson was the soloist,accompanied by Mrs, Charles Smith. Attendants were Messrs Carl Franklin, Harold Sranken, Everette Sranker, Myron Swanson, and Elmer Mikkelson. Obituary Hattie Santage, daughter of Delia and Alex Morrow was born Dec 10,1876 in Papineau, Ill, and passed away January 9, 1962 at the Spencer hospital. She moved with her parents to Clay County Iowa where she was united in marriage to Zeb Joseph Santage, who preceded her in death May 1, 1940. To this union was born five children, Mrs Harold Anderson of Long Beach,Calif., Mrs. Walter Johnson of Newell, Mrs. Dorothy Olsen of San Fransisco, Calif., Archie Lee Santage of Hampton, and Donald of Long Beach, Calif. Other survivors are a brother Walter Morrow of Kankakee,Ill., a half sister, Mrs Laura Nielsen of Salem, Ore., and a half brother Pearly Morrow of Royal, Iowa. She lived the most part of her life in Royal and the later years in Spencer and Newell. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Royal, Mission Chapter OES and the Sr Women's Fellowship of the Congregational Church of Newell. She will be greatly missed by her family and a host of frirnds.
