Again death comes of Mrs. Amanda Cone, who only a few days ago seemed as well as usual and went to Osceola to spend a few days with her son, when she became ill and called her son about 3 a.m. and asked him to give her some medicine which he did. She soon was overcome with a paralytic stroke and fell in an unconscious condition, never regaining consciousness again. This all happened so soon when death came a week later. All was done for her that loving and tender hands could do. She leaves her only living son, Ed. Fazel, his wife and two daughters, and three brothers to mourn her departure. The body was brought to her home at Murray Friday where the funeral was held from the M. E. church at 2 p. m. conducted by her pastor, Rev. Douglas in charge of undertaker, Lester Webster of Osceola, when the body was taken to the cemetery and laid beside that of her husband and three sons, Just to know that she is gone and how we miss her here and there, but sweetly she sleeps in the quiet chamber over there.
