Mary E. Campbell, 56, of Cherokee, Iowa passed away Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at her home.

The body was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Campbell was born March 30, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa to Daniel and Eleanor (Maddux) Campbell. She had been a resident of Cherokee for a number of years. She had worked at TCI of the Heartlands and the Happy Chef in Cherokee and for K-Products at Marcus, Iowa.

Survivors include several close friends, including Marianne Furgason, Christine Brownfield, Victor Brownfield, Shalina Brownfield and Darryl Walker. (Source: Former Cherokee County Historical Society scrapbook, hand dated 3-28-98)
