Michael Thiel, a bachelor, 48 years of age and a brother of Mrs. G. W. Raymond, died at his home south of town at 2 a.m. Thursday of dropsy of the heart. Another sister, Mrs. Paul, of Hampton, Iowa, arrived Friday evening to attend the funeral which was held from the German Catholic church in Rock yesterday, the interment being in the Catholic cemetery near the church.
