Graveside services for Mrs. Paul (Edith M.) Gardner, 87, were held at the Tipton Masonic cemetery Dec. 13. Mrs. Gardner, a Tipton resident, died while wintering in Sun City, Ariz. Dec. 8. She died at the Valley View Community hospital, Youngtown, Ariz. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Assocation.

The daughter of John and Jennie Young Walker, she was born at Atlantic Nov. 16, 1902. She graduated from Atlantic high school in 1919 and was married to Paul Gardner at Atlantic in 1921. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Edith E. Mickelwright and Mrs. Jean E. Jehring, Phoenix, Ariz.; 2 sons, Paul Jr., Davenport and Robert D., Panama City Beach, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, 2 sisters and a brother.
