Olga Sophia Andresen, 79, died Nov. 18 at LCOM hospital, Torrance, Calif. Family memorial services will be held at a later date.

She was the daughter of Hans and Martha Petersen Andresen, longtime Lowden residents and the granddaughter of O. E. and Marie Petersen, original owners of Petersen Brothers Dept. Store, later A. Freund & Co.

Olga Andresen spent most of her life in Lowden, except for some time in Daytona Beach, Fla. and Chicago, Ill. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal church at Maquoketa and St. Richard's of Chihester church in Chicago.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Bealey, Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; a brother, F. C. Andresen, Anacortes, Wash.; a niece, Mrs. Rick (Susi) Knight, Pinole, Calif.; 3 nephews, John W. Andresen, Chicago, Ill.; Steve Andresen, Los Osos, Calif.; and Hermann Andresen, Phoenix, Ariz.; a great-niece and 2 great-nephews.
