Funeral services for Selma S. Albaugh, 73, Mechanicsville, were held Oct. 15, 1988 at the United Methodist church in Mechanicsville, with the Rev. Jaymee Glenn Burns officiating. The organist was Mrs. Calvin Robinson and pallbearers were Jay Albaugh, Dirk Albaugh, Donald Bailey, Richard Bailey, Jeffrey DeForest and William Armstrong. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery in Mechanicsville.

Mrs. Albaugh died Oct. 13 at the Mechanicsville Care Center following a long illness.

The daughter of Kate and William Kellerhals, she was born May 15, 1915 in Garrison. She married Calvin Albaugh Nov. 17, 1933 in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Albaugh attended the Tipton schools. She was a housewife and belonged to several organizations in Tipton when she was young. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ernest, Mechanicsville and Larry, Albert Lea, Minn.; 3 daughters, Rose Bailey, Albert Lea, Minn.; JoElla DeForest, Winterset and Mary Albaugh, Indianapolis, Ind. a sister, Edna Schultz, Iowa City; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a son, 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
