Funeral services for Paney J. Hylton, 75, Tipton, were held Oct. 3, 1988 at St. Mary's Catholic church in Tipton, with the Rev. Joseph P. Hines officiating. Mary Wethington was the organist and pallbearers were Leo Miller, Don Maher, Robert Brennan, Russ Wethington, Charles Kofron and Ray Crock. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery, Cedar Valley.

My. Hylton died unexpectedly Sept. 30 at his home in Tipton.

The son of David and Ella Hylton, he was born March 15, 1913 in Johnson county, Ky. He attended rural Kentucky schools and married M. Loretta Baker July 6, 1950 in Tipton. He had lived in the Tipton area since 1935 and was involved in farming and construction. He also worked for the City of Tipton. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

Mr. Hylton is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
