Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer (Laverna) Gehrls, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lacock Funeral home, Durant, with burial in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Gehrls died at her home Jan. 18.

She was married to Elmer Gehrls in Davenport in 1931. He died in 1972. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, Durant camp and the Durant Senior Citizens. She was an avid card player.

She is survived by 2 sons, Donovan, Peoria, Ill. and Lowell, Dixon; 8 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Lucille Dreyer, Davenport and 3 brothers, James and Alvin Paustian, Durant and Louis, Davenport.
