Funeral services for Mrs. John (Sadie Ellen) Davis, 77, Bennett, were held in Durant Nov. 1 with the Rev. David Lawson officiating. Graveside services were held at Slater Nov. 2 with the Rev. Nathan Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Davis died at her home near Bennett Oct. 27.

Born April 26, 1910, she was married to John L. Davis at High Bridge in 1928.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Miller, Gardenia, Calif. and Mrs. Deloris Rosman, Walkoloa, Hawaii; a sister, Marie Glenn, Santa Monica, Calif.; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
