In honor of Phyllis Kienlen Lanigan of Biggar, SASK. Canada; wife of Thomas Lanigan who gave me all this Lanigan Biography info.

Decendants of Edmond Lanigan and Bridget Fogarty; both born in Ireland.

1870 Census has Edmond and Bridgett Lanigan of Cass County/Atlantic TWP.

Edmond Lanigan: Occupation; works for the Rock Island Railroad; born Ireland.

(1) Honora married a Murphy in 1871 and had four children: Michael 1882, Daniel 1885, Thomas 1866, and Willie 1879.

(2) Thomas Edward born PA never married and died in Iowa after 1900.

(3) David William married Margaret J. Waters in 1888, and had ten children; Mary January 21, 1890; she died in 1976, John Edward May 2, 1891; he died in 1918, Terrance David born August 23, 1892; he died in 1995, Thomas Clem born January 16, 1895;he died in 1904, Bridgett Bernadette born September 4, 1896; she died in 1966,
*William Miniton born March 25, 1898 and died 1972 at Biggar, SASK Canada, John Emmett born March 3, 1900; died 1959, Charles born March 25, 1902; and died in 1960, Baby Girl; name unknown born November 25, 1905 and died in 1905, and Martin C. born November 18, 1906 died in 1991.

*William Miniton Lanigan married Sophia Jarmin July 5, 1926 in Canada. They had 10 children; one being Thomas William; married February 13, 1967. Thomas and Phyllis had the total of ten children; all born in Canada.
