The Boone News Republican, Boone, Iowa, 9 April 1912, page 8:

"Silver Wedding Anniversary. On Tuesday, March 26th, at their home in Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. R. Storesund, together with over fifty relatives and friends, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. The Rev. Lundel, pastor of the Swedish Mission church assisted by a former pastor, Rev. Swanson, conducted a very appropriate service during the evening, after which a delicious luncheon was served, and the remaining hours of the evening were pleasantly passed with music, readings and a general good time. Mr. and Mrs. Storesund have lived here for years, he being section foreman for the C.&N.W.Ry.Co., for the past thirty years. At the close of the pleasant occasion, Mr. and Mrs. Storesund were presented with a number of beautiful pieces of silverware including a sum of money, after which the party adjourned, wishing Mr. and Mrs. Storesund many more happy years. The following out of town guests were present: Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McPherson, Mr. and Mrs. F. Ahrens, Mr. and Mrs. J. Thoren and Mrs. Lucy McPherson all of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. Elton Briggs and children of Colfax, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Toriyd and Jacob Storesund of Des Moines and Rev. Carl Swanson of Madrid.--Ogden Reporter."
