Watton family of Barclay

My name is Bruce Richards and I live in England. I am trying to trace an ancestor by the name of Henry Watton, b c1833 in England who emigrated to the USA in about 1859. The Federal Census for 1880 shows a suitable candidate, a Farmer, living at Barclay, Black Hawk, Iowa with wife Paulina, b New York, and daughter Myra, age 6, b Iowa. The 1900 Census shows the family (indexed as Walton) at Bondin, Murray, Minnesota, (wife Sylvia P) with a second daughter, M"onta", age 13. In 1910 Henry, a widower age 76 (indexed as Walton/Watton) is at Los Nietos, Los Angeles, California, with daughter Myra age 36.
In order to confirm whether this person is my relative I need to know more about his origin eg place of birth and parents names. Can anyone help me please?
