Anna Mae Zoll was born Oct. 7, 1922 to John Emmett and Irene Mary Ronan Zoll. She died Aug. 3, 2019 and is buried in Saint Marys Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover Township, Allamakee County, IA.
Col. Zoll served with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. After active duty, she remained with the Army Reserves, attaining a final rank of a full Colonel.
