WOMEN IN SERVICE
Miss Margarite Gladys White, daughter of Mrs S. F. Critz, 314 North Van Buren street, left Tuesday evening for New York City, where she will train with the WAVES at Hunter college. Miss White, who was one of 47 WAVES enlistees who left Des Moines, was honored at several farewell courtesies before her departure.
