Mrs. Jean L. Weidman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Brousseau, 712 Beech street, was graduated Thursday from a motor transport specialist school of the Women's Army Auxiliary corps at Fort Des Moines, Ia., where she also took her four week basic training in the WAAC. Mrs. Weidman, who joined the corps about two and one-half months ago, was one of the 249 WAACs graduated from four specialist schools Thursday.

Waterloo WAAC Turns 'Cyclist
Waterloo claimed Saturday the first and only woman in the army's Fifth service command to operate a motorcycle. She is Mrs. Jean Weidman, 21, a WAAC who carries messages for headquarters at Fort Knox, Ky. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Brousseau, 712 Beech street. She formerly worked in a war plant here, and altho she never drove a motorcycle before, reportedly has not the slightest difficulty with it at Fort Knox.
