Alice Josephine Ward was born Feb. 3, 1919 to Joseph C. and Veronica McGinnis Ward. She died Apr. 4 , 2001 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waukon, IA.
Capt. Ward served in World War II with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, including an assignment to France.
