Nelle Elizabeth Thompson was born Feb. 7, 1909 to Alexander Noble and Rosa Gertrude Moore Thompson. She died Oct. 10, 1987 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Shell Rock, IA.
Nelle served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a Medical Dept. Dietitian at Fort Benning, GA.
