WOMEN IN SERVICE
Miss Betty M. Stephen, daughter of Mr. E.E. Stephen, 2211 H street, has been selected to become a storekeeper in the women's' reserve of the U.S. Navy. She has reported to the navy's special training school at the University of Indiana at Bloomington for 16 weeks of instructions.

WOMEN IN SERVICE
Her training completed, Miss Betty M. Stephen, daughter of Mrs E.E. Stephen, 2211 H street, is now a storekeeper in the U.S. navy. A member of the WAVES, she was graduated from the naval training school for storekeepers located at the University of Indiana campus in Bloomington. Miss Stephen received instruction in bookkeeping, typing, stores and supplies and naval procedure. She will now be assigned to active duty at some naval shore station.
