AT GREAT LAKES -- Ensign Madelyn Sprout who entered the Navy Nurse corps on May 10 is stationed at Great Lakes naval hospital, according to word received by her father, L.O. Sprout, 1011 Jefferson N.W. Ensign Sprout is a graduate of Holy Family high school and the College of St. Teresa at Winona, Minn. She completed her nurse's training at St. Mary's hospital, Rochester Minn., and entered the University of Minnesota until her enlistment in the nurse corps of the naval reserve. She received her commission on April 15 and spent the time between then and her departure for Great Lakes at the Sprout home here.
