Two Des Moines women have begin their WAC training at Fort Des Moines. They are Ellen Jo Moyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry R. Moyer, 231 S.E. Rose ave., and Jeanne Bonnie Signs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne S. Signs, 2410 Carpenter ave.

Pvt. (f.c.) Bonnie Jeanne Signs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Signs, 1625 Oakland ave., is assigned to the post exchange office at a replacement depot in England. She is in the Air-WACs.

Bonnie Signs Becomes Bride of E. L. Boeckel
Miss Bonnie Jeanne Signs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Signs, 3813 Thirteenth st, and Edward L. Boeckel son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Henry Boeckel of York, Penn, were married at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. R.T. White, pastor of Epworth Methodist church, read the service at his home.
The bride was discharged in January from the WAC after serving as corporal for 18 months in England and Germany.
Mr. Boeckel returned two weeks ago. He is a former corporal and service three years in the European theater of occupation.
