Mrs. Ann Schmerler and daughter, Margo, 740 Forth-fourth st., have returned home after spending a week at Clear Lake, Ia., with her son and bother, Pvt. (f.c.) John H. Schmerler, who was home on a seven-day furlough. Miss Schmerler is awaiting a call to the women's marine corps. She will take training at New River, N.C.

Margo Schmerler Is Bride
Miss Margo Schmerler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Schmerler, 740 Forty-fourth st., was married to Stuart E. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Anderson of Wyoming, Ill., at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The double-ring service was read by the Rev. Francis J. O'Connell at St. Austin's church.

The bride is a graduate of Roosevelt High school and served two and a half years in the marine corps women's reserve. Since her discharge from service, she has been employed by Veteran's administration.
Mr. Anderson attended the University of Illinois and Los Angeles City college before entering the service.
For three years he was stationed with the combat engineers and saw service in the European theater.
