WAVE of the Day
Rae Louise Ridenour, daughter of Mr. Ray F Ridenour, 318 East Sixth street and Fern L Ridenour, R.R. No. 1, Bettendorf, has enlisted in the WAVES.
Prior to her enlistment she attended Marycrest college. She was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.

Davenport WAVE IS Bride in Capital
Miss Rae Louise Ridenour, seaman, first class, in the WAVES, became the bride of Donald Wehnde, A/F, in the navy at a quiet ceremony, June 25 in Washington, D.C.
The bride, who is the daughter of Ray F. Ridenour of 318 East Sixth street, Davenport and of Mrs. Fern L. Ridenour of Route No. 1, Bettendorf, attended Marycrest college and was employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. before enlisting in the WAVES nearly a year ago. She is stationed in Washington.
The Rev. Frank M. Graf, a navy chaplain, officiated the ceremony which was at 4 p.m. in the Anacostia navy chapel. A navy man and a WAVE were the attendants. The bride wore her white uniform and carried an orchid.
